Atlanta Empowerment Zone Loan Fund
If you are a business located inside the city of Atlanta limits, you may be eligible to receive up to $50,000 for expansion or renovation through this exciting program. In 2008, the Atlanta Renewal Community awarded Invest Atlanta $1.1 million for the Community Revolving Loan Fund, under the Title XX Integrated Strategic Plan. The purpose of the Empowerment Zone (EZ) Loan Fund is to stimulate economic development and job creation in the EZ area.

SBA 504
Invest Atlanta provides financial and technical assistance to small, minority and female-owned businesses to expand and/or relocate in the city. The SBA-504 Loan Program offers businesses a unique source for 90% financing. Loans are available through certified development companies certified under the U.S. Small Business Administration 504 Certified Development Corporation Program.

Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI)
Through a competitive selection process, a maximum of 15 women entrepreneurs will be selected to “incubate” their business at the Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI), in a technologically advanced environment, designed to foster and business growth and sustainability. Through an ecosystem of educational resources, access to funding assistance and mentorship, the women entrepreneurs will grow their businesses over the course of 15 months, and then transition the business back into Atlanta at the end of that period.
